Data protection notice
We process your data in accordance with the legal regulations (GDPR, Telecommunications Law 2003). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal regulations in § 96 Par 3 of the Telecommunications Law and Art 6 Par 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
Your IP-address will be captured but immediately given a pseudonym. As a consequence it will only be possible to locate it in vague terms. Our aim in accordance with the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our service and the performance of our website. Because the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymised. User data is stored for a period of 30 days.
You have the right to be informed, correct, delete, restrict, transfer, withdraw and object. If you are of the view that the processing of your data contravenes data protection legislation or infringes in any other way on your rights to data protection, you may make a complaint to the regulatory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde).
The transmission of our newsletter, which you will receive if you have consented to this transmission in the past or present, is carried out in collaboration with MailChimp, property of The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA. Information on MailChimp’s data protection policy can be found at https://mailchimp.com/legal.
This website uses Google Maps API, a map service by Google Inc. (“Google”), to present an interactive map. By using Google Maps information about users of this website (including their IP address) can be transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google can transfer this transferred information to third parties. Google will not collate your IP address with other data held by Google. Nevertheless it may be possible that Google could process personal data and personal profiles of users for other purposes. We do not have any information about this. If the do-not-track function is activated in your browser no external Google Maps content will be loaded without your permission.
One of the providers we use to integrate videos is YouTube. YouTube is operated by YouTube LLC whose headquarters is at 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube is represented by Google Inc. located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
If you activate a page with a YouTube video, a connection will be made to the YouTube servers and the plug-in accessed. This will inform the YouTube server which web page you have visited here. If you are logged in as a member of YouTube, YouTube will attribute your information to your personal user account. By using the plug-in, i.e. by watching a video, this information is allocated to your user account. Information on data processing and notices about data protection by YouTube (Google) can be found at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/. If the do-not-track function is activated in your browser no external YouTube content will be loaded without your permission and only a notice detailing this option will be shown.
To embed some videos we also use the services of the video portal Vimeo (Vimeo LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011 USA). By starting the video, a connection is established to the vimeo.com server in order to play the video and the video is then delivered by this server. This server is located in a country outside the European Union. Vimeo will therefore receive your IP address and also the link to the web page from which you have watched the video. Further information can be found in Vimeo’s data protection policy at https://vimeo.com/privacy.
